La Bella is at the intersection of Club Drive and Fredericksburg Road, adjacent to an H-E-B and diagonal to a Starbucks, in the centre of the Monticello area and the Woodlawn Lake neighborhood. Hildebrand Street is close by and provides access to Interstate 10 and Highway 87.
The buildings were remodeled to parallel the district's historical Spanish architecture, with a moderate grey exterior paint. The complex has a courtyard for social activity, dog stations, updated carports with one assigned space per apartment, and an on-site laundry room cleaned weekly. Copious lighting was added for safety.
